Manitoba Day

On May 15, 2010, the MGS held our annual open house in celebration of Manitoba Day 2010. Our dedicated volunteers were on hand to help interested persons with begin their search. 

Our annual Open House features free entrance to our centre and includes refreshments, and a door prize. Raffle prizes are available.

The winner of the copy of Fast Facts for Finding Family from Manitoba was Jacquie Ross. Congratulations Jacquie!

Workshops, Seminars, etc.

Crossing Boarders - Immigration and Migration.  MGS is hosting a joint conference with the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society. It will be held at St. Gerard's Parish Complex 125 3rd Avenue North, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan from September 17 - 19, 2010. We will feature keynote speaker, Colleen Fitzpatrick.

MGS Annual General Meeting - 2010 

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 am.

All members & visitors are encouraged to attend & have a voice in the running of our organization. Our elections are held for our executive board members at this meeting. We also recognize several very worthy recipients with special awards presented annually. Please attend to congratulate these volunteers nominated by their peers.
